Me pasé a Ubuntu Linux. Al menos en el ordenador de escritorio. Todavía mantengo una partición pequeña, pero hace días que uso principalmente el S.O. libre.

Primero el famoso W.G.A. me empezó a molestar. Lo deshabilité siguiendo un truco y todo bien. Luego las amenazas de VISTA, la necesidad de antivirus, el explorer aún saliendo para algunas cosas y un sinfín de urticarias me seguían empujando.

Para hacer mi memoria usando servidor Tomcat, Netbeans, latex, gestión de requerimientos, control de versiones además del desarrollo de Infante una máquina con linux es necesaria y deseable.

Tampoco puedo decir que es para “seres humanos”. Yo además de ser humano soy computín y ciertamente hay dificultades.

    En mi pagina en la seccion de Linux puede que veas un par de articulos de tu interes…
    Respecto a las fallas…
    -Camara de foto: Detecta los drives automaticamente lo malo es para usarlas como videocamara.. no tengo mucha experiencia en eso
    - Programa de musida simeple el xmms (= al winamp)
    - Peliculas: el totem es ien bueno y hay otro que se llama VLC pero el cuento de los videos pasa por los codecs… asi que te recomiento que bajes en w32codecs que son los codecs de windows… y con eso no deberias tener problemas… (esta en la seccion de software)
    -pdf: esta el acrobat para linux.. buscalo en synaptic por acroread, a mi megusta el evince por lo simple.
